Mrs. WallaceHELLO ALL!!
I am so honored and privileged to be your child's teacher this year! My name is Nicole Wallace, and I am very proud to be a part of such a wonderful school system (Johnson City Schools) for five years. Cherokee Elementary has been my home for 7 years, within that time I have been able to collaborate with some talented teachers (FIRST GRADE!) and staff. East Tennessee State University is where I earned my bachelor degree in Human Development and Learning with a focus on Early Childhood. I then furthered my education at Milligan College where I earned my masters degree. I am so lucky to have had some rare opportunities and experiences during my educational field and study. I was able to work and get to know some excellent mentors and advisors throughout my educational career! They have helped me get to where I am today, and for that I am beyond grateful! Johnson City Tennessee has been my home since I was a baby! I have had the honor to watch, meet, and observe with some AMAZING teachers growing up as a child and young adult. Two of them happen to be my wonderful parents. I have learned so much from them, and I consider them to be two of the BEST teachers I know! I love them dearly. I have three wonderful, beautiful children, Madison, Lauren, and Ryan. I enjoy spending time with them !! I am married the love of my life "Greg"! He is also an educator and works for the JCS school system (administrator). We also have a doggie "Cooper" (King Charles Cavalier) he is 2! Not only am I a teacher for Cherokee I am a parent of one Cherokee student (two former and one present). Cherokee ROCKS!! I am very proud of them and I love them oodles! My favorite color is pink (any pastels) ! I have an obsession with nautical decor (whales, anchors etc), polka dots and shoes. I LOVE traveling (anywhere that has a beach!), scuba diving, and snorkeling! I like sweet tea, lemonade, and just about any type of food except really hot or spicy foods. Candy and sweet things are my weakness! I can't wait to see how your child will grow this year! " Will you succeed? Yes You will indeed! Ninety-eight and three quarters percent guaranteed." -Dr.Seuss |
